How to identify spares needed

You may be looking for spares because you already know what spare part you need to get your server up and running. You may have seen an online video or blog somewhere that details what parts you need. In these scenarios you can email or call us with the spares part number you have and we will examine stock availability and pricing for you.

Sometimes the manufacturer HP , DELL or IBM  may tell you what part number specifically is needed but they may also advise you that its on a long leadtime or only through specific companies. You may then call those companies and find out they have no stock. In these circumstances, call us and see what we can do for you.

If you have an issue that you need to resolve, server has died, processor or power supply failure, etc but you don't know what part number you need, we can still help. Make sure you note your server serial number and manufacturer part number, both of which can be found on the outside of the server, or on the BIOS screen at startup. With this information we can help to work out quickly which spare parts are applicable for your specific machine.
